No Rest for the Wicked, a short story by Rebecca Knight, is
available on Smashwords for free for a limited time. I just finished it and it's really quite a wonderful little story based on a Grimm fairytale. It draws you in right from the start and keeps your attention. My only complaint is that it's too short! I want to know about the girls in the closet and what happens to Veronica next! I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for more from this author. Check it out!
