It's A Date!

(c) Lynn Kelley
Valentine's Day is just around the corner and we want to set you up! With a book, that is. It's like a blind date, but instead of dressing up and going out, you get in your pajamas and curl up with a cup of cocoa!

How does it work, you ask? It's easy! Just post a comment on the FB event with your email address, favorite genres, what you absolutely would NOT want to read about, and your preferred ebook format. Then on Valentine's day, you'll receive an email from one of us with your "blind date." You will not know what the book is ahead of time, so it will be a total surprise! But we're sure it'll be a match made in heaven (or on Facebook, anyway).

AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT

ANNA ERISHKIGALAnna Erishkigal is an attorney who writes fantasy fiction under a pen-name so her colleagues don't question whether her legal pleadings are fantasy fiction as well. Much of law, it turns out, -is- fantasy fiction. Lawyers just prefer to call it 'zealously representing your client.' Seeing the dark underbelly of life makes for some interesting fictional characters. The kind you either want to incarcerate, or run home and write about. In fiction, you can fudge facts without worrying too much about the truth. In legal pleadings, if your client lies to you, you look stupid in front of the judge At least in fiction, if a character becomes troublesome, you can always kill them off.

CHARITY KOUNTZCharity's work can be found in a variety of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry markets. Her writing specialties include fantasy fiction, mainstream literature, nonfiction, and free verse poetry. She has been known to dabble in thrillers, horror, and even the occasional romantic story, in both short story and novel lengths. As a published author, Charity writes content for a variety of websites, corporate and small business clients, magazines, newspapers and more.
In addition to being an author, Charity is also a wife, mother to two daughters she adores, entrepreneur, and a Marketing Consultant. She tweets almost obsessively, is addicted to CSI, plays poker and Guild Wars occasionally, reads on average two books a week and writes whenever she can. Somewhere among all of that, she manages to sleep. She is originally from Florida but lives in the great state of Texas, which she is proud to call home.

BREEANA PUTTROFF - Breeana Puttroff has loved making up stories since she could talk. For many years, her biggest audience for those stories was the fantastic students she had the privilege of teaching. One summer afternoon, while she was picnicking in the beautiful mountains of her Colorado home with her little girl, she saw an old, broken stone bridge, and she just knew there was a story inside. Six months later, the Dusk Gate Chronicles was born. These days, she runs a small business and writes from home while planning math lessons, digging caterpillars out of garbage disposals (oops!), discovering how to make new colors out of crayons melted in the dryer, and drinking lots of coffee (and occasionally tea). She loves it when readers connect with her on Facebook or Twitter, especially if they have new recipes for disastrously good times with kids. Breeana holds a B.A. in English from the University of Northern Colorado, and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and Literacy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.
