Saturday marked the 32nd anniversary of John Lennon's death. After being shot in the back outside of his home, he was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced DOA. Despite his wife's wishes, the tragic news was almost immediately announced on Monday Night Football. He was cremated two days later (December 10th, 1980).

Lennon's murderer, Mark David Chapman, cited the song Imagine as one of his reasons for killing the internationally loved artist. I think he missed the whole point of the song. What do you think?
